What do a registered South African safari guide, a team leader in The Open University, a consultant/producer for ITV and the owner of a motorcycle adventure travel business in North Africa have in common? Striking features, lightning white hair, a hankering for adrenalin riddled adventure, and a generous portion of humour. And the sum of those parts goes by the name of Billy Biketruck Ward. Steering his busy career toward the Adventure, Entertainment and Media sector yet without taking his eye off journalism, Billy often enjoys working both ends of the camera. Combined with his qualification as a safari guide, he regularly returns to the African continent—and usually on a motorcycle.
